Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TriScore website and service (the "Service"), operated by Statement Analytics LLC ("Statement Analytics," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What TriScore is — and is not

TriScore is an analytical and educational service. You provide investment or brokerage account statements, and the Service produces measurements of your return, fees, and risk, together with an overall TriScore and a report. TriScore does not provide investment advice and is not a substitute for professional advice. Statement Analytics is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, accountant, or law firm, does not manage assets, does not recommend or offer to buy, sell, or hold any security, and receives no commissions, referral fees, or product compensation. The Service analyzes information you provide; it does not connect to, transact in, or take custody of your accounts.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your login credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Your content & the license you grant

You retain ownership of the statements and information you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Statement Analytics a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and to maintain and improve the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not trade on it.

4. Fees, free tier & refunds

Your three scores and overall TriScore are shown at no charge. The full report may be offered free to a limited number of early members and is otherwise a paid product. Prices are shown before purchase. If you purchased the full report, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at the address above.

5. Intellectual property

The Service and all of its content, software, scoring methodologies, and design are owned by Statement Analytics LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. TriScore™, the Historical Allocation Benchmark™ (HAB™), ROAF™, the Advisory Multiple™, and Math, Not Marketing™ are trademarks of Statement Analytics LLC. The Historical Allocation Benchmark methodology is patent pending. Except for your own report, which is yours to use, no license to our intellectual property is granted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or replicate the scoring methodologies, uploading content you have no right to share, or interfering with the Service's operation or security.

7. Disclaimers

As-isThe Service and all outputs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of the statements you provide; certain costs (for example, bid-ask spreads, tax effects, and soft-dollar arrangements) cannot be measured from statements. The Historical Allocation Benchmark is generated from disclosed historical data using passive index proxies and does not represent actual investment results; direct investment in an index is not possible. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Statement Analytics and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any investment decision you make. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Statement Analytics from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Except for claims seeking injunctive or equitable relief, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration in Dallas, Texas, administered by JAMS under its applicable rules, before one arbitrator. You and Statement Analytics waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

11. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Statement Analytics LLC collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the TriScore Service.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide, such as your name and email address.
  • Statements and financial data you upload for analysis ("Your Content").
  • Usage and device data, such as pages viewed and general analytics, collected to operate and improve the Service.

How we use information

We use your information to generate your analysis and report, operate and secure the Service, communicate with you, process payments, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade on Your Content.

How we protect it

SecurityData is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. When you connect an account, your login credentials are entered directly into Plaid and never touch our servers. Our access is read-only — we can never move money, place trades, or take custody of your accounts. Every analysis is backed by $2,000,000 in cyber-liability protection. You may request deletion of your uploaded statements and data at any time.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers (such as cloud hosting, payment, and analytics providers) who are bound by confidentiality and process it on our behalf, and where required to comply with law or protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.

Retention & your choices

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and we delete Your Content on request. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, including under California and other state privacy laws. Cookies & analytics

We use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We do not provide investment, tax, or legal advice, do not recommend specific securities, and do not manage assets. Our reports are for informational and educational purposes. Historical Allocation Benchmark™The Historical Allocation Benchmark™ (HAB™) is generated from an account's historical asset allocation applied to passive index proxies; it does not represent actual investment results. Direct investment in an index is not possible. Actual investment would produce different results due to fees, timing, and other factors. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Data & measurement limitsAnalysis is based on the statements you provide and is only as accurate as that source data. Certain costs — including bid-ask spreads, tax inefficiency, and soft-dollar arrangements — cannot be measured from statements. Lower fees do not by themselves indicate superior outcomes, and advisory relationships may provide value beyond investment returns.
